Title: College Seal and Other Official College Symbols

Legal Authority: Florida Statutes 1001.64, 1001.65

Office of Primary Responsibility: President’s Office


The president, or designee, shall keep in custody the official college seal and shall authenticate true copies of decisions, acts, or documents where law requires the official seal and/or official signatures.  A copy of the college seal may be used as a symbol to represent the college, but only with the approval of the president, or designee.

The official college colors are orange (PMS 166), dark blue (PMS 295), and white. 

The official college mascot is the Florida panther (Puma concolor coryi).

The president is authorized to develop administrative procedures and guidelines for the display and use of the official college seal, colors, and mascot and graphic identity representation of the college.
