BSN Admissions
To be eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program, you must:
- Complete an online South Florida State College Admissions Application, select Nursing (Bachelor of Science) RN to BSN major/program.
- Submit an official high school transcript, GED, or equivalent verifying proof of high school graduation to the Office of the Registrar.
- Submit official college transcripts from all other colleges attended verifying completion of an AS (or AAS) Degree in Nursing or a Diploma in Nursing to the Office of the Registrar. **
- Submit a current unencumbered Registered Nurse license to practice in Florida (or multistate).
- Submit a current CPR (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers) certificate.
- Once you have confirmed with the Registrar’s Office that your transcripts have been evaluated, please contact Advising and Counseling to register for classes.

NOTE: The seven-year expiration rule does not apply to science courses for RN to BSN applicants.
