Radiography Mission Statement
The mission of the Radiography Program is to provide quality education to students who seek to become competent and compassionate entry-level radiographers in the healthcare community.
Goal #1 (Program-Level Outcome)
Students will be clinically competent.
- Students will be able to apply positioning skills
- Students will be able to select appropriate technical factors
- Students will be able to practice radiation protection
Goal #2 (Program-Level Outcome)
Students will demonstrate communication skills.
- Students will be able to demonstrate oral communication skills in the clinical education setting
- Students will be able to correctly assess the patient’s cognitive skill

Students will use critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Students will be able to calculate missing exposure factors
- Students will be able to correctly assess the patient’s cognitive and psycho-motor skills
