Mrs. Kuehnle oversees the Office of Community Relations and Marketing at SFSC. Her daily responsibilities include editing and approving copy, creating content for and moderating social media accounts, responding to media and community inquiries, promoting the College’s over 70 programs and services, updating the website’s content and navigation, and participating in meetings as an administrator and member of the President’s Council.
Before her employment at SFSC, Kuehnle was the director of communications and external relations for St. Joseph’s College (now St. Joseph’s University) in Patchogue, N.Y. where she served as the second vice president and chair of the Marketing Committee for the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce, creating the organization’s social media presence, and board member for Vision Long Island.
In 2016, Kuehnle was honored with the Chamber Member of the Year Award from the Brookhaven Coalition of Chambers and the Excellence in Communication Award from Long Island Business News (LIBN). LIBN also honored her with the 40 Under 40 Award in 2017. Kuehnle was recognized as Administrator of the Year at SFSC in 2019 and the Association for Florida Colleges (AFC) honored her with both the Unsung Hero Award and Chapter President Service Award in 2022.
Kuehnle is on the board of the Avon Park Chamber of Commerce and a member of the American Marketing Association (AMA), Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA), Highlands County Public Information Officers, National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR), Penn State Alumni Association, and Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education at Florida Southern College.
