Your Pathway to Become an Administrative Professional
Administrative Professionals perform a wide range of administrative and personal assistant duties including conducting research, preparing statistical reports and spreadsheets, and preparing correspondence. They are the first face a customer sees when entering the office and can be employed as an office clerk, administrative assistant, office manager, or a data entry specialist in an organization or institution.
Administrative Professionals are essential to every business and they:
- track and replace office supplies
- oversee daily schedules and appointments
- support executives and employees
- greet customers and answer phones
SFSC’s Associate in Science Office Administration
- is 60 credit hours
- takes approximately two years to complete
- can be started in high school through dual enrollment
- can transfer to the University of South Florida’s Fuse program upon completion
