Jacaranda Jubilee Join us for a festive evening of hors d’oeuvres, desserts, drinks, and music while viewing the Avon Park Christmas Parade from the veranda of the Hotel Jacaranda. We will showcase our student culinary chefs as they prepare and serve the hors d’oeuvres. Feel the holiday cheer as we kick off the season with this jubilee! Million Dollar Hole-In-One Golf Shootout New for 2025: $10K Putt Challenge The SFSC Foundation will be hosting our Eighth Annual Million Dollar Hole-In-One Golf Shootout, sponsored by Bill Jarrett Ford, at Sun ‘N Lake Golf Club. Participants will be battling it out at the driving range Thursday-Saturday for the top 12 closest to pin—our leaderboard—and will be asked to come back and try their best to swing for a hole-in-one on Saturday evening on the 18th hole of Deer Run. Event prizes on Saturday for closest-to-pin include awards of $750, $500, $250, and a Pro Shop gift card for the top four golfers closest to the hole who don’t make a hole-in-one. NEW: The SFSC Foundation is excited to announce a new aspect to this event — introducing the $10k Putt Challenge. Participants advance through qualifications resulting with one finalist given the opportunity to putt for $10,000. All golfers are welcome. The cost is $10 for a bag and you can purchase an unlimited number of bags. If you qualify on the leaderboard and then get bumped off, you can come back and battle your way back until the close of qualifying rounds on Saturday, Jan. 18 at 4 p.m. We thank you for your support as this event benefits SFSC Athletics. Learning and Legacy Gala 5:30 p.m. Learning and Legacy Gala South Florida State College is a sparkling diamond in the community! You are invited to the 2025 charity gala supporting the SFSC Foundation and celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the College for our sparkling diamond year.
