Art at SFSC

At South Florida State College (SFSC), we nurture and support the artistic talents of our students, staff, and faculty by providing opportunities to create and display artwork through courses, events, and exhibits.

  • Pottery
  • Photography
  • Painting
  • Drawing
  • 2D and 3D Design
  • Bio Art
  • Adobe Creative Cloud ( Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)

Through Panther PATHways, students can follow a Graphic Arts Pathway or an Art Education Pathway for an efficient and stress-free college experience. Art History and Studio Art Pathways are currently in development.

EVENTS

Each year, students display their work at the Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition. Students win awards and receive recognition for the pieces that they’ve completed throughout the academic year.

MOFAC

Students also have the opportunity to have their artwork featured at the Museum of Florida Art and Culture (MOFAC) which is located on SFSC’s Highlands Campus.
